Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai on Wednesday to address the Maritime Leaders Conclave and chair the Global Maritime CEO Forum, key highlights of India Maritime Week 2025, the government announced on Monday.

The event, being held at the NESCO Exhibition Centre, will bring together top CEOs, investors, policymakers, and international partners to deliberate on the future of the global maritime ecosystem.

A flagship feature of India Maritime Week, the Global Maritime CEO Forum will focus on themes such as sustainable maritime growth, resilient supply chains, green shipping, and inclusive blue economy strategies.

The Prime Minister’s participation underscores his commitment to positioning India among the world’s leading maritime powers. His long-term vision for the sector is anchored on four strategic pillars — port-led development, shipping and shipbuilding, seamless logistics, and maritime skill-building.

With the theme “Uniting Oceans, One Maritime Vision,” the five-day event will showcase India’s roadmap to becoming a global maritime hub and a leader in the Blue Economy. It will feature participation from over 85 countries, 100,000 delegates, 500+ exhibitors, and 350+ international speakers.

Bringing together stakeholders from shipping, ports, shipbuilding, cruise tourism, and blue economy finance, India Maritime Week 2025 aims to translate India’s maritime aspirations into actionable growth. Prime Minister Modi’s participation is expected to mark a significant milestone in India’s maritime transformation journey.
