DHL Supply Chain India Pvt. Ltd. has taken on lease 4.3 lakh sq ft of warehousing space at the Indospace Industrial & Logistic Park in Vishnuvakkam, Chennai, further strengthening its rapidly growing logistics network in the country.

According to documents accessed via Propstack, the lease commenced in October 2025 at a monthly rent of ₹96.64 lakh, backed by a security deposit of ₹5.80 crore. The property has been leased from Shirina Industrial & Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd. for a tenure of one year.

This development comes close on the heels of DHL Supply Chain securing 4.17 lakh sq ft of warehousing space in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai, in a deal valued at over ₹32 crore, signalling the company’s aggressive capacity expansion in key logistics hubs.

The broader DHL Group has also announced a significant long-term commitment to India. As reported earlier, the company plans to invest €1 billion in the country by 2030, including ongoing projects and new capital infusion into supply chain infrastructure, warehousing, clean energy initiatives and support for the fast-growing e-commerce and pharmaceutical sectors.

In another expansion move, DHL Express recently upgraded its operations at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, adding 17,900 sq ft of space and raising its total operational area there to 130,000 sq ft. DHL has invested around ₹35 crore in this expansion, which includes a newly built service centre at the AISATS Bengaluru Logistics Park.

With these strategic investments and leasing activities, DHL continues to reinforce its position as one of India’s leading logistics and supply chain operators, aligning strongly with the country’s expanding consumption and manufacturing ecosystem.
