In a strategic move to support its global expansion, CMA CGM AIR CARGO has renewed its unit load device (ULD) management partnership with Jettainer, reaffirming their long-term collaboration as the airline prepares for significant fleet growth.

Under the extended agreement, Jettainer will continue to provide comprehensive ULD services — including tailored supply, ongoing maintenance, and repair — to meet CMA CGM AIR CARGO’s operational needs as it expands its cargo network. The original partnership, first established in 2022, has been renewed ahead of schedule to accommodate the airline’s increasing demand for load units and advanced logistical support.

Jettainer will also leverage its digital tracking technologies and the JettwareNG IT platform to deliver real-time visibility of ULDs across CMA CGM’s network, facilitating more efficient and sustainable cargo handling. These digital tools help optimise unit movement and inventory, while offering transparency and seamless tracking for both partners.

CMA CGM AIR CARGO has been steadily growing its fleet, which currently includes a mix of Boeing and Airbus freighters, with further expansion planned in the coming years. The extended agreement ensures that the airline will continue to have reliable access to the ULDs needed to support increased capacity and network reach.

Executive leaders from both companies said the renewed partnership underscores their shared commitment to operational excellence and innovation in air cargo logistics, especially as demand for global freight services continues to evolve.
