HAROPA PORT has announced the addition of a Le Havre port call to an Asia–Europe shipping service, further strengthening the French gateway’s connectivity with major Asian markets and enhancing cargo movement along one of the world’s busiest trade corridors.

The inclusion of Le Havre in the service rotation is expected to provide importers and exporters with improved access to direct shipping connections, shorter transit options and greater supply chain reliability. The move also reinforces Le Havre’s role as a key container hub within HAROPA PORT’s integrated port network.

The enhanced service is expected to support a broad range of cargo, including containerised consumer goods, industrial products and manufacturing components moving between Europe and Asia. Shipping lines and logistics providers are expected to benefit from increased scheduling flexibility and expanded market access.

HAROPA PORT continues to invest in infrastructure, terminal capacity and intermodal connectivity to strengthen its competitiveness as France’s leading port complex. The addition of the Le Havre call aligns with the port’s strategy of attracting more international liner services and supporting sustainable trade growth.

Industry observers believe the expanded Asia–Europe connection will improve the resilience of regional supply chains while enhancing Le Havre’s position as a strategic maritime gateway for cargo entering and leaving the European market.
