The Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has commenced the movement of containerised cargo from Ennore Port to Hyderabad, marking the beginning of a new business stream aimed at strengthening rail-based connectivity between the east coast and the Deccan region.

The new service is expected to provide trade and industry in Telangana and neighbouring markets with an efficient logistics link to the maritime gateway at Ennore, supporting smoother cargo movement and improved access to global markets.

The initiative is part of CONCOR’s continued efforts to expand and strengthen its pan-India logistics network by developing reliable multimodal transportation solutions and enhancing port-hinterland connectivity.

The Ennore–Hyderabad movement is also expected to contribute to the ease of doing business by offering exporters and importers an additional logistics option for the movement of containerised cargo, while supporting the growing trade requirements of Telangana and the wider Deccan region.

With stronger rail connectivity between ports and inland markets, CONCOR continues to focus on building integrated logistics solutions that improve cargo evacuation, enhance supply-chain efficiency and support India’s growing trade ecosystem.
