The Goodrich Group has announced with pride that Mr. Venkataraman Thyagarajan has been honoured with the prestigious Late Shri P.K. Srivastava Award for Excellence in Multimodalism at the 27th Annual General Meeting of the Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India (AMTOI), held on August 21, 2026, at the Royal Bombay Yacht Club, Mumbai.
Instituted in memory of Late Shri Prabhat Kumar (P.K.) Srivastava, AMTOI’s first President and former Chairman and Managing Director of the Shipping Corporation of India, the biennial award recognises individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development and advancement of multimodal transport in India.
The recognition of Mr. Thyagarajan is particularly significant for the Goodrich Group, reflecting his contribution and the Group’s longstanding commitment to multimodal transportation, shipping and integrated logistics. Over the years, the Group has focused on developing integrated logistics solutions that connect businesses, markets and economies.
The Goodrich Group expressed its appreciation to Mr. Shantanu Bhadkamkar, outgoing President of AMTOI, and the outgoing leadership team for their contribution to the association and the growth and professionalisation of the multimodal transport sector in India.
The Group also congratulated the newly elected AMTOI leadership team comprising Mr. Devpal Menon, President; Mr. Haresh Lalwani, Vice President; Mr. Prashant Popat, Honorary Secretary; and Mr. Ravindra J. Gandhi, Honorary Treasurer.
The award marks an important recognition of Mr. Thyagarajan’s contribution to India’s multimodal transport and logistics industry and highlights the continuing importance of integrated transportation solutions in strengthening the country’s trade and supply-chain ecosystem.
