Hapag-Lloyd has announced that MSC Meline, operating on the Mediterranean–South America East Coast (MSE) service, will omit its scheduled call at Genoa, Italy, on 27 October 2026 as part of a schedule recovery measure.

Under the revised arrangements, import cargo originally scheduled for discharge at Genoa will instead be discharged at Livorno, Italy. The cargo will subsequently connect with MSC Albany (voyage MM644A), which is scheduled to call at Livorno on 30 October 2026.

For export cargo originating from Genoa, Hapag-Lloyd will arrange shipment on the first available vessels. The carrier will determine the revised routing based on updated vessel schedules and transit times.

Affected customers will receive revised booking confirmations specifying the new loading vessel. Hapag-Lloyd has also advised customers to update their shipping documentation to reflect the revised arrangements.

The change forms part of the carrier’s efforts to recover schedule reliability on the MSE service, with alternative arrangements in place to facilitate the movement of affected import and export cargo.
