Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) has introduced a new weekly rail service connecting ICD Patli in Haryana to Pipavav Port in Gujarat, further strengthening its multimodal logistics network and EXIM supply chain capabilities.
The newly launched service is aimed at simplifying cargo planning for exporters and importers by offering dependable, end-to-end connectivity between North India’s key industrial clusters and the western gateway port. The weekly rail connection is designed to reduce transit uncertainty, enhance schedule reliability, and provide customers with a more consistent cargo movement solution.
With ICD Patli serving as a strategic inland hub for the NCR and surrounding regions, the dedicated rail link to Pipavav Port is expected to improve cargo evacuation efficiency and support time-sensitive shipments. The service aligns with APSEZ’s broader strategy of integrating ports, rail, and inland logistics infrastructure to create seamless supply chain ecosystems.
Company officials stated that the initiative is part of Adani Ports’ continued efforts to deliver smarter logistics solutions that balance speed with reliability—ensuring cargo moves on time and businesses stay competitive in global trade.
The weekly rail service is now operational and available to EXIM customers seeking streamlined connectivity between northern manufacturing centres and Pipavav’s maritime network.
