Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) reported a 10% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹36.5 billion for the latest quarter, supported by strong cargo volumes, higher logistics revenue, and improved operational efficiency across its port network. The results underscore the company’s resilience amid evolving global trade conditions and sustained growth in India’s maritime sector.

Revenue growth was driven by robust performance across container, dry bulk, and liquid cargo segments, along with increasing contributions from the company’s integrated logistics and multimodal transport businesses. Higher capacity utilization at key ports and disciplined cost management also contributed to stronger profitability during the reporting period.

The company continued to benefit from rising domestic cargo demand, expanding hinterland connectivity, and increased use of rail and warehousing services, reinforcing its strategy of providing end-to-end logistics solutions. Ongoing investments in port infrastructure, cargo handling capacity, and digital technologies have further enhanced operational efficiency and customer service.

During the quarter, APSEZ maintained its focus on expanding capacity at strategic locations and strengthening its presence in both domestic and international markets. The company has also continued to invest in sustainability initiatives, including renewable energy, electrification of port operations, and emissions reduction, in line with its long-term environmental goals.

Industry analysts said the latest earnings reflect the strength of Adani Ports’ diversified business model, which combines port operations with integrated logistics services. With continued growth in India’s trade volumes, infrastructure development, and government support for port-led economic expansion, the company is well positioned to sustain its growth momentum in the coming quarters.
