In an industry where manufacturers and exporters often take centre stage, the BSL Global Outreach Summit has emerged as a bold and timely initiative, honouring the often-overlooked professionals who play a pivotal role in enabling India’s global trade success.

Held in the capital, the summit recognised Global Brand Leaders, Sourcing Champions, and India’s most influential sourcing professionals—the critical link connecting global demand with India’s manufacturing prowess. These professionals ensure that the government’s ‘Make in India’ campaign goes beyond slogans to become an enduring and tangible economic movement.

The summit, organised by the Brands & Sourcing Leaders Association (BSL), served as a platform to celebrate those who work behind the scenes to position India as a reliable and competitive sourcing hub for leading global brands.

“It wasn’t just another award ceremony,” said one of the Jury Members. “It was a powerful recognition of the visionary professionals who drive the supply chain and make ‘Make in India’ a working reality.”

The event was graced by several prominent figures, including Dr. Mohan Yadavji, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. In a passionate address, Dr. Yadavji pitched his home state as a prime destination for manufacturing, citing progressive government policy support, green infrastructure, and a future-ready skilled workforce. He also highlighted a key incentive—the state government’s initiative to cover worker salaries during the initial years—as a boost for industries seeking to invest in the region.

Sourcing professionals honoured at the summit were lauded for their role in:

    • Driving consistent business to Indian manufacturers

    • Ensuring compliance, quality standards, and timely delivery for international clients

    • Advocating India’s strengths as a global sourcing destination

The summit marks a significant step in acknowledging the ecosystem that enables India to sustain its position as a preferred global sourcing hub. As India continues to emerge as a global manufacturing powerhouse, the contribution of these sourcing professionals is now receiving the recognition it deserves.

The BSL Association has been widely praised for this thoughtful and meaningful initiative. Industry stakeholders have expressed hope that such recognitions will continue to champion those who quietly yet powerfully shape India’s trade and manufacturing success story.
