Shri Sanjay Swarup, Chairman & Managing Director of Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), was conferred with the “SEPC Stellar Visionary Leader of the Year Award” at the Conclave on Future-Ready Logistics in India organized by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), set up by the Ministry of Commerce.

Delivering the Inaugural Session address, Shri Swarup spotlighted CONCOR’s wide-ranging initiatives to strengthen India’s multimodal logistics ecosystem. These include the movement of export cargo in CONCOR-owned containers, operations of over 400 container trains across 190 locations pan-India, and the development of 4.5 million sq. ft. of warehousing space.

He also emphasized CONCOR’s sustainability drive with the deployment of LNG trucks, electric vehicles and electric trucks at MMLP Dadri for first mile–last mile connectivity. On the digital front, Shri Swarup outlined IT-led innovations such as AI-based operations at ICD Tughlakabad, live rake monitoring systems, and online container booking — all geared towards enhancing efficiency, transparency, and customer convenience.

The honour underlines Shri Swarup’s leadership in driving CONCOR’s vision of sustainable, future-ready, and technology-driven logistics solutions in alignment with India’s growing trade and export aspirations.
