The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA) to collaborate on a range of initiatives aimed at strengthening industry linkages and expanding business opportunities across regions.

The MoU was formally signed by Ms. Vinodini Sukumar, President, Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and Mr. Ravindra Mangave, Acting President, MACCIA. The agreement establishes a framework for closer cooperation between the two chambers, focusing on areas of mutual interest that support trade facilitation, business networking, and knowledge exchange.

Through this strategic partnership, CCCI and MACCIA will work together to promote inter-state trade, facilitate industry interactions, and create platforms for enterprises from Kerala and Maharashtra to explore new markets, partnerships, and investments. The collaboration is also expected to encourage the sharing of best practices, policy insights, and sectoral expertise to support sustainable business growth.

The MoU marks an important step towards deepening economic engagement between Kerala and Maharashtra, reinforcing the role of industry chambers in enabling regional integration and strengthening India’s business ecosystem. Both chambers expressed confidence that the association will lead to meaningful collaborations and deliver impactful outcomes for their member organisations in the years ahead.
