ColdStar Logistics has inaugurated a large-scale standalone distribution facility in Bengaluru, marking a significant expansion of its cold chain and warehousing network in southern India.
The new facility is the company’s largest standalone site and is designed to support temperature-controlled storage, distribution and integrated supply chain operations for sectors including food, pharmaceuticals, quick commerce and retail. The development is expected to strengthen ColdStar Logistics’ ability to handle growing demand for cold chain infrastructure in the region.
Company officials said the Bengaluru hub features advanced warehousing systems, modern handling infrastructure and technology-enabled inventory management aimed at improving operational efficiency and delivery timelines. The facility will also support multimodal distribution and last-mile logistics requirements for customers across key markets.
Industry analysts noted that rising consumption of perishable products, expansion of e-commerce and increasing pharmaceutical shipments are driving strong investment in India’s cold storage and logistics sector. Bengaluru remains a major distribution and consumption hub due to its growing industrial, retail and technology ecosystem.
ColdStar Logistics said the new facility aligns with its broader strategy to expand capacity and strengthen nationwide cold chain connectivity as demand for reliable temperature-sensitive logistics solutions continues to rise across India.
