In a significant step towards deepening international cooperation in digital governance and smart logistics, the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) has initiated a Government-to-Government (G2G) engagement with State Informatics Limited, the key technology partner of the Government of Mauritius.

The engagement was formalised on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, marking a new chapter in India–Mauritius collaboration focused on artificial intelligence (AI), GovTech innovation, and digital transformation.

The strategic initiative aims to explore AI-driven solutions in warehousing, supply chain management, and public service delivery. With CWC’s extensive expertise in logistics infrastructure and State Informatics Limited’s digital governance capabilities, the partnership is expected to enable knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the deployment of smart, technology-enabled governance models.

Officials noted that the collaboration aligns with India’s broader vision of strengthening bilateral ties with Mauritius through technology cooperation and institutional partnerships. The move is also seen as a step toward promoting smart logistics ecosystems and enhancing efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making in public sector operations.

As digital transformation becomes central to modern governance, this G2G engagement underscores India’s growing role as a GovTech partner for friendly nations and sets the stage for scalable, AI-powered solutions in the region.
