Haldia Dock Complex (HDC) has delivered a standout performance in FY 2025–26, registering three consecutive monthly container handling records—a rare hattrick that underscores sustained momentum and operational resilience.

The numbers tell the story. Container volumes climbed from 21,691 TEUs in November 2025 to 22,657 TEUs in December 2025, before peaking at a record 24,428 TEUs in January 2026. The steady month-on-month rise highlights growing trade confidence and sharper execution across terminal operations.

Industry observers note that the consistent upward curve reflects improved turnaround times, better coordination on the ground, and increasing preference among shippers for HDC as a reliable container gateway on India’s eastern seaboard.

With this three-month streak, HDC has not only set new benchmarks but also sent a strong signal about its capacity to handle rising container traffic sustainably—positioning the port complex for a robust year ahead.
