Haldia Container Terminal, operated by the J M Baxi Group, has achieved a new all-time monthly throughput record, handling 21,691 TEUs in November 2025. This surpasses its previous record of 20,627 TEUs set in September 2025, marking another significant milestone for the terminal’s growth trajectory.

The company attributed this accomplishment to the increasing confidence of shipping lines, cargo owners, and key stakeholders, along with the strong performance and dedication of the Haldia Container Terminal team in delivering efficient and reliable operations.

J M Baxi Group also extended its appreciation to Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, acknowledging the port authority’s steadfast support and collaboration in enabling operational excellence.

With this new benchmark, the terminal continues reinforcing its role as a critical gateway on the eastern coast, enhancing connectivity, productivity, and service standards. The Group expressed optimism for achieving many more milestones in the coming months as trade volumes continue to grow.
