Jewar’s location in the National Capital Region provides access to major agricultural belts in Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states. The airport could therefore serve as an important gateway for agricultural exports from northern India.
The initiative is expected to benefit farmers and exporters by reducing transportation time and improving access to international markets. Air cargo could be particularly useful for premium and time-sensitive consignments, where faster delivery can help exporters meet quality and freshness requirements.
