JN Freight Forwarders Pvt Ltd has achieved a significant milestone in Karnataka’s logistics sector by becoming the first Customs House Agent (CHA) to successfully complete an export customs clearance at the newly established Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) – Mysore Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Kadakola, Mysore.
The milestone marks the commencement of export operations at one of Karnataka’s newest logistics hubs and represents an important step towards strengthening the region’s logistics infrastructure.
JN Freight Forwarders coordinated the complete export customs clearance process, including documentation, examination, stuffing, sealing and dispatch of the first export container from Mysore ICD.
The successful movement of the first export container is expected to support the decentralisation of export logistics from Bengaluru, while providing exporters in Mysore and surrounding regions with improved access to integrated logistics and customs clearance facilities.
The development is also expected to create new opportunities for exporters in the Mysore region by enabling more efficient cargo movement and reducing dependence on logistics facilities in Bengaluru.
The achievement underscores the growing role of the Mysore MMLP in developing Karnataka’s multimodal logistics network and facilitating smoother integration of road, rail, inland container and customs operations.
