    Mumbai Clean Cargo Terminal (MCCT) has officially commenced operations with the successful berthing of M.V. ZHIDA 3, the first vessel to call at the terminal on 1 July 2026, marking a significant milestone in the development of India’s maritime infrastructure.

    The arrival of the inaugural vessel signals the start of commercial operations at the terminal, which aims to provide safe, efficient and customer-focused cargo handling services while enhancing logistics efficiency at Mumbai Port.

    The commissioning of the terminal is expected to strengthen India’s maritime and logistics ecosystem by offering modern cargo-handling facilities and supporting seamless trade through improved operational capabilities.

    On the occasion, Mumbai Clean Cargo Terminal expressed its gratitude to the Mumbai Port Authority, vessel owners, shipping lines, customers and other stakeholders for their support in achieving the milestone.
