Navio Shipping has completed a complex Breakbulk shipment from Mumbai Port to Jebel Ali, marking a significant milestone in its project cargo capabilities. The operation, which spanned nearly three months from enquiry to execution, involved extensive coordination across multiple ports and rigorous competition from several leading operators.
The cargo enquiry initially moved through Vizag, Kolkata, and Chennai before being finalised at Mumbai. Navio Shipping attributes the win to its transparent communication, swift response to customer requirements, and reliable scheduling assistance—all of which contributed to securing the prestigious movement.
Once confirmed, the project entered its most demanding phase. The team coordinated the movement of the cargo into the port, supervised the stuffing of a massive crane onto the vessel, ensured flawless documentation, and delivered continuous updates to the customer. The company highlighted that Breakbulk operations require absolute precision, as even minor delays can lead to significant cost escalations.
Thanks to meticulous planning and teamwork, Navio Shipping ensured seamless execution and delivered on every commitment, reinforcing customer confidence throughout the process.
The company acknowledged the dedicated contributions of its operations and management teams, including colleagues Arun Ramesh, Sreejith Pillai, Nanditha Ajay, Thampy Tharun, Joshua Pavamani, Lakshmi, Nishant, Arjun Rajaram, and Akhila. Navio Shipping also extended special appreciation to its operations leads, Suresh and Vijay, for their on-ground expertise, and thanked senior leaders Ajay Thampy, Biju Sivakumar, and Santharam Nayak for their guidance. A special note was extended to Shamsheer Shariff from Navio Dubai for his trust and nomination of the shipment.
With this successful movement, Navio Shipping strengthens its position in Breakbulk and project cargo logistics, reaffirming its readiness to undertake larger and more complex assignments in the segment.
