Transworld Group Chairman, Mr. Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan, participated in a high-level Fireside Chat titled “Strategic Corridors and Economic Integration – IMEC, I2U2, and Beyond” at the India–West Asia Dialogue 2025, held in Dubai. The session brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and strategic thinkers to deliberate on the evolving architecture of cross-regional economic cooperation and connectivity.

During the discussion, Mr. Ramakrishnan shared industry perspectives on the transformative potential of emerging economic corridors such as the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and the I2U2 framework. He emphasized that these initiatives go beyond infrastructure development, serving as catalysts for enhancing global trade efficiency, strengthening supply-chain resilience, and fostering deeper collaboration between Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Highlighting the pivotal role of logistics in translating corridor visions into tangible outcomes, Mr. Ramakrishnan underlined the need for seamless multimodal connectivity integrating ports, shipping, rail, road, and digital platforms. He noted that the success of large-scale economic corridors depends not only on physical infrastructure but also on regulatory alignment, data-driven logistics, and strong public–private partnerships built on trust and long-term commitment.

The fireside chat also examined the importance of resilient and diversified supply chains in an increasingly complex global trade environment. Mr. Ramakrishnan pointed out that reliable logistics networks and collaborative ecosystems are essential to mitigate disruptions and unlock new trade opportunities across regions.

Reaffirming Transworld Group’s commitment to global trade facilitation, he stated that the Group continues to actively contribute industry insights to forums shaping the future of international commerce. With a strong presence across shipping, logistics, terminals, and supply-chain solutions, Transworld remains focused on supporting initiatives that promote connectivity, efficiency, and sustainable growth across strategic trade corridors.

The India–West Asia Dialogue 2025 served as a vital platform for advancing conversations on economic integration, positioning logistics and connectivity at the heart of regional and global trade transformation.
