In a significant milestone for sustainable port operations, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA) has become the first port in India to receive the ISO 50001:2018 Certification for its Energy Management System (EnMS) from the Indian Register Quality Systems (IRQS).
The prestigious certification recognizes the Port’s commitment to implementing a systematic energy management framework aimed at improving energy efficiency, optimizing energy consumption, and ensuring continual enhancement of its energy performance.
