In a notable achievement for project logistics, two complex import shipments from China to India were executed flawlessly, overcoming multiple operational and technical challenges. The consignments comprised:

    1 x 40’ Flat Rack – carrying overweight and over-height cargo

    1 x 40’ High Open Top – carrying over-height cargo

Meticulous cargo profiling ensured that every centimeter and kilogram was accounted for, with accurate dimensions and center-of-gravity calculations enabling safe loading and lashing at origin. Strategic pre-planning of vessel selection and port rotation proved pivotal in avoiding rollovers and reducing transit delays, a crucial factor when handling special equipment like FR and OT containers.

Given the heightened scrutiny such cargo often faces, proactive documentation and early coordination with Indian Customs ensured smooth clearance without unnecessary delays. The operation underscored the importance of teamwork across borders, with overseas suppliers, shipping lines, port handlers, transporters, and Customs officials working in seamless coordination.

This successful handling reinforces that managing Out of Gauge (OOG) cargo is not just a matter of transportation but requires strategic planning, technical precision, and collaborative execution.
