Kandla International Container Terminal (KICT) has set a new benchmark in operational excellence by crossing the 4 Million Tonne (MMT) cargo handling milestone for the financial year 2025–26 on 27th August 2025.

This achievement comes over two months ahead of last year’s timeline, when the terminal reached the same mark on 31st October 2024. The milestone highlights KICT’s growing efficiency, precision, and commitment to delivering top-tier service at Deendayal Port.

Officials attributed this record-breaking performance to seamless teamwork, customer trust, and strong collaboration with stakeholders across the logistics chain.

“Crossing 4 MMT in record time is a proud moment for us and a testament to our focus on speed, reliability, and innovation. We thank our teams, partners, and clients for their relentless support in making this possible,” a KICT’s media release said.

The achievement reinforces Deendayal Port’s status as a leading hub for maritime trade in India and positions KICT as a frontrunner in handling growing cargo volumes with unmatched efficiency.
