Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla, on Thursday successfully went fully live with all modules of its Enterprise Business System (EBS), marking a significant milestone in the port’s digital transformation journey. The full-scale implementation is expected to streamline operations, enhance transparency, and improve service delivery for port users and stakeholders.
The formal launch was attended by Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman, Deendayal Port Authority, and Shri Nilabhra Dasgupta, IRS, Deputy Chairman, along with senior officials from DPA, the EBS implementation team, and Tech Mahindra, the technology partner for the project.
According to an official release, the implementation of EBS at DPA Kandla is aimed at reducing the cost of doing business, improving supply chain visibility, and enhancing the ease of doing business through integrated digital processes across port operations, finance, human resources, and asset management. The system is expected to bring greater efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and seamless coordination among stakeholders.
