Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) has announced that Sreedhar Krishna Menon will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective March 1, 2026, as part of a planned leadership transition within the company.
Menon, a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of experience, currently serves as CFO of AdaniConnex and has held senior roles at companies such as Bharti Airtel Ltd, Pennar Group and AFL Private Limited. He is a cost accountant and management graduate who has also completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
He will succeed D. Muthukumaran, who is stepping down from the CFO post on February 28, 2026 to take on a new role within the Adani Group as part of ongoing leadership development initiatives at the conglomerate.
The CFO change comes at a time when Adani Ports is reporting strong financial performance: the company recorded a double-digit rise in net profit and revenue for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, with profits up about 21 % and revenue growth near 22 % year-on-year.
The board’s decision reflects a broader succession planning strategy and positions Menon to guide the company’s finance function as it pursues growth across its port and logistics businesses domestically and internationally.
