A major highlight was the successful flag-off of the first 90-TEU export block container train operated by Samudera Shipping Line Ltd, moving from ICD Kota to Pipavav Port on 31 January 2026, in association with Millennium Cargo Movers and CONCOR.
The train was formally flagged off by Ms. Damini Tikkiwaal, Director, Millennium Cargo Movers, in the presence of Mr. Prashant Singh Chauhan, Terminal Head – ICD Kota, Mr. Nagendra Mishra, Commercial Head – AWL Agri, and Mr. Rakesh Vijay, Director – Samudera Shipping Line Ltd.

The initiative underscores the growing emphasis on rail-based logistics solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in cargo movement.
The successful operation also highlights the strong collaboration and shared commitment among all stakeholders toward building integrated, benchmark-driven logistics solutions. APM Terminals Pipavav appreciates the collective efforts of Samudera Shipping Line, Millennium Cargo Movers, CONCOR, and all partners involved in making this initiative a success.
At APMT Pipavav, the team remains committed to working closely with customers and logistics partners to enable seamless multimodal connectivity and support India’s expanding trade ecosystem.
