Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd (SAMIL) on March 25 announced that it has entered into a joint venture agreement with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics to offer integrated supply chain solutions for the global automotive industry.

The joint venture entity will be headquartered in Dubai and will focus on delivering third-party (3PL) and fourth-party logistics (4PL) services worldwide, excluding Japan. The collaboration is aimed at providing end-to-end, customised logistics solutions to meet the evolving requirements of automotive manufacturers.

By combining Motherson’s expertise in automotive supply chains with Hellmann’s extensive global logistics network, the partnership seeks to build more resilient, agile, and sustainable supply chain ecosystems.

Arjun Kochhar, CEO of Motherson’s Logistics Solutions Business Division, said the alliance would strengthen capabilities to navigate increasingly complex global supply chains. He highlighted that the collaboration brings together Motherson’s integrated industrial strengths with Hellmann’s advanced logistics capabilities.

The companies added that the joint venture will provide access to a network of over 30,000 suppliers while enhancing relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The initiative is also expected to improve efficiency, predictability, and overall supply chain resilience for automotive customers worldwide.
