Welspun One has leased 2.10 lakh sq ft of Grade A+ space to Indev Infra at its WTC Nhava Sheva project located within the JNPA SEZ, marking a significant early milestone for the large-scale port-linked development.
The project, Welspun One’s largest in India, is being developed with an investment of ₹2,700 crore and is envisioned as a future-ready hub integrating warehousing, manufacturing, and commercial operations. The early leasing activity signals strong demand for infrastructure that combines storage, logistics, and trade services within a single ecosystem.
Indev Infra will utilize the space to expand its Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) operations, offering services such as cold storage, vendor-managed inventory, and cargo handling to support import-export activities. The move is expected to strengthen its logistics capabilities under the SEZ framework, which enables faster clearances, duty efficiencies, and operational flexibility.
According to the company, the partnership provides a strategic platform to enhance trade flow management and deliver integrated logistics solutions, while benefiting from a dedicated, non-compete operating environment.
Spread across 55 acres with a development potential of 4.45 million sq ft, WTC Nhava Sheva is positioned as a key gateway project supporting India’s EXIM trade. With the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority handling nearly one-third of the country’s container traffic, the development is expected to play a crucial role in boosting warehousing capacity and improving supply chain efficiency near one of India’s busiest ports.
