X-Press Feeders has announced the launch of its new Hercules 2 (HLS2) service, marking a significant step in strengthening regional shipping connectivity across South and Southeast Asia.
The HLS2 service will connect key ports in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Thailand through a fixed-day weekly schedule, ensuring more reliable and consistent transit times for customers. The rotation will cover Nhava Sheva, Pipavav, Karachi, Colombo, and Laem Chabang—linking major trade hubs across the region.
To support the service, X-Press Feeders will deploy nine vessels with capacities ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 TEUs. This scale is expected to enhance efficiency while accommodating growing cargo volumes along the west coast of India.
The inaugural sailing is scheduled to arrive at Nhava Sheva on 13 May 2026. With this launch, the company aims to better support increasing trade flows and improve connectivity to wider South Asian networks via Colombo, a key transshipment hub.
The introduction of HLS2 reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen intra-Asia shipping routes and provide more dependable logistics solutions in a rapidly expanding regional trade environment.
