DTDC Express Limited and India Post have announced a strategic partnership aimed at expanding logistics and parcel delivery coverage to more than 9,000 PIN codes across India, strengthening last-mile connectivity.
The collaboration is designed to integrate private sector efficiency with the extensive rural and semi-urban network of India Post, enabling faster and more reliable delivery services across underserved and remote regions. The move is expected to significantly improve e-commerce logistics and small business access to nationwide shipping.
Under the arrangement, DTDC will leverage India Post’s reach to extend service availability, while India Post benefits from DTDC’s operational expertise and growing parcel demand driven by online retail and SME shipments. The partnership is also expected to enhance reverse logistics and cash-on-delivery operations.
Industry observers say the initiative reflects rising demand for hybrid logistics models in India, where public-private cooperation is increasingly critical to bridging infrastructure gaps and meeting growing parcel volumes across both urban and rural markets.
