Lufthansa Cargo has merged its Heyworld and Customs Broker businesses as part of a strategy to streamline logistics operations and strengthen integrated supply chain service offerings.

The integration is aimed at creating a more unified platform for customs clearance, freight forwarding and digital logistics solutions, enabling customers to access broader end-to-end cargo services through a single operational structure.

Lufthansa Cargo said the move will improve process efficiency, enhance service coordination and support faster cargo handling and customs management for international shipments.

The company is also focusing on expanding digital logistics capabilities and simplifying customer interactions as demand grows for integrated air cargo and supply chain solutions.

The merger reflects broader trends in the logistics industry, where operators are increasingly consolidating specialised services to improve operational efficiency, visibility and customer experience across global freight networks.
