Global logistics provider Geodis has successfully renewed the IATA CEIV Pharma certification for its airfreight operations in Warsaw, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the handling and transportation of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products.

The recertification recognises that Geodis’ Warsaw facility continues to comply with the International Air Transport Association’s stringent requirements for pharmaceutical logistics, covering areas such as temperature control, quality management, risk mitigation, operational processes, and regulatory compliance. The certification ensures that sensitive healthcare products are handled safely and efficiently throughout the air cargo supply chain.

The Warsaw airfreight hub plays a strategic role in Geodis’ European logistics network, serving pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare customers with specialised cold chain solutions for vaccines, biologics, clinical trial materials, and other temperature-sensitive medicines. Maintaining the CEIV Pharma certification strengthens the company’s ability to provide reliable and compliant logistics services across international markets.

Geodis said the renewed certification reflects its continued investment in employee training, quality assurance systems, and advanced infrastructure designed to preserve product integrity during storage, handling, and transportation. The company also emphasised its focus on meeting the growing demand for secure and resilient pharmaceutical supply chains.

As global healthcare logistics continue to expand, the recertification further enhances Geodis’ position as a trusted logistics partner for the life sciences sector. It also supports the company’s broader strategy of delivering end-to-end, GDP-compliant logistics solutions that meet evolving customer and regulatory expectations in the global pharmaceutical industry.
