    The Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) has promoted A. M. Rao as its Executive Director, recognising his long-standing contributions to the organisation and his leadership in driving technology-led transformation.

    Over the past decade, Rao has spearheaded several key technology and digital transformation initiatives at CWC, playing a pivotal role in modernising warehousing operations, strengthening enterprise systems, and improving organisational efficiency. His efforts have supported the corporation’s broader vision of enhancing service delivery and operational capabilities through digital innovation.

    In addition to his responsibilities at CWC, Rao has served on the boards of several state warehousing corporations and has contributed to national technology initiatives, bringing extensive experience in governance, digital infrastructure, and public sector transformation.

    His elevation to Executive Director is expected to further strengthen CWC’s focus on technology-driven modernisation, operational excellence, and the continued development of India’s warehousing and logistics ecosystem.
