Maersk will adjust selected Transpacific sailings during China’s October Golden Week holiday period, introducing blank sailings on its TP8 and TP12 services between Asia and North America.

On the Asia–US West Coast route, Maersk will blank TP8 voyage 640E, with the first affected departure from Busan scheduled for October 9. The carrier will also blank TP8 voyage 644W westbound from the US, with the first affected departure from Los Angeles on November 1.

On the Asia–US East Coast trade, TP12 voyage 641E will be blanked, with the first affected sailing from Ningbo on October 9. Westbound TP12 voyage 647W will also be blanked, with the first affected departure from Newark on November 18.

Maersk said inducement calls will be made on alternative sailings to maintain port coverage during the temporary schedule changes. Customers have been advised to check the carrier’s sailing schedules or contact local customer service representatives for specific booking and cargo-movement details.
