    V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA) Chairperson Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, held a meeting with Dr. Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor, Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), to discuss the proposed Satellite Skill Development Centre at VOC Port under the existing MoU between VOCPA and GSV.

    The discussions focused on finalising industry-oriented courses and training programmes for working professionals, along with programme delivery, implementation modalities and operational arrangements.

    The proposed centre is aimed at strengthening skill development and capacity building in the maritime and logistics sector, creating new opportunities for professionals and supporting the development of industry-ready talent.
