DP World and the DP World Tour have announced a major extension of their long-term partnership, reaffirming a shared commitment to expanding and globalising the game of golf. Under the new agreement — the largest in the Tour’s history — DP World will continue as both Title Partner and Official Logistics Partner of the DP World Tour until 2035.
The renewed partnership builds on the success of the original 2022 agreement, which saw the European Tour rebranded as the DP World Tour. Since then, the Tour has expanded to host 42 tournaments across 26 countries, delivering record prize funds and growing its global fan base.
“The first stage of our landmark Title Partner relationship has been focused on raising global awareness of the DP World brand and creating strong business synergies. Over the past four years, that has been a tremendous success,” said Guy Kinnings, Chief Executive Officer of the DP World Tour. “The partnership has evolved into a deeply integrated collaboration that leverages DP World’s supply chain expertise to deliver our global schedule. Their continued investment until 2035 underlines the Tour’s growing strength and international appeal.”
Yuvraj Narayan, Group Deputy CEO and Chief Financial Officer of DP World, highlighted how the partnership connects sport and global trade. “Our partnership with the DP World Tour reflects how sport can connect markets and communities, just as we do through global commerce. This long-term investment demonstrates our confidence in the Tour’s future and our commitment to making golf more inclusive and sustainable. The success of new events, such as the DP World India Championship, shows our shared vision to expand the game’s reach in emerging markets,” he said.
As part of the agreement, DP World will remain the Title Partner of the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai—the season-ending Rolex Series event where the Race to Dubai Champion is crowned. Additionally, DP World will serve as Official Partner to 15 other tournaments each season, expanding engagement with fans and communities worldwide.
The DP World India Championship, which debuted to enthusiastic crowds, will return in 2026 and aims to become a regular fixture on the Tour calendar.
Both organisations will continue to collaborate on initiatives promoting inclusivity and grassroots development. Through DP World’s Second Life initiative and its global Clubhouse programme, the company repurposes shipping containers into community golf training hubs, using its logistics expertise to nurture the next generation of players.
DP World’s association with the Tour dates back to 2009, when it became presenting partner of the Race to Dubai finale. Over the years, the relationship has deepened — and this latest renewal cements a shared vision of connecting the worlds of trade and sport for years to come.
