The leadership team of Mormugao Port Authority (MPT) visited our advanced shipbuilding facilities in Goa, marking a significant moment of collaboration and encouragement for the maritime and defence sectors.

Chairman Shri Vinod Kumar, accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Deputy Conservator, and Traffic Manager of MPT, toured our shipyards at Rassaim-II and Loutolim.

At the Rassaim-II shipyard, the dignitaries were presented with an overview of our state-of-the-art infrastructure, specially developed for constructing hovercrafts for defence applications under the “Make in India” initiative. Notably, this project represents the first-of-its-kind in India, with the inaugural craft scheduled for delivery by May 2026.

The delegation also visited our Loutolim shipyard, where they engaged with Joint Managing Director Shri Ashok Chowgule and senior officials. The team was briefed on ongoing production activities and key projects currently under construction.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the MPT leadership for their visit, interest, and support. Their encouragement further strengthens our commitment to enhancing India’s maritime and defence capabilities.
