Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced that its FP2 transpacific service will include a new port call at Haiphong, Vietnam, enhancing connectivity between Southeast Asia and North America.

The addition of Haiphong is aimed at improving cargo accessibility for Vietnamese exporters and importers, particularly for electronics, garments, and industrial goods, while providing faster and more reliable transit times to the U.S. West Coast.

ONE said the revised FP2 service schedule will now call at major Southeast Asian hubs, Haiphong, and key North American ports, enabling greater network flexibility and expanded capacity for customers. The change also reflects ONE’s strategy to strengthen trade lanes, optimize vessel utilization, and respond to growing demand from Vietnam’s manufacturing sector.

“This new call at Haiphong demonstrates ONE’s commitment to providing efficient, reliable, and comprehensive transpacific shipping solutions,” a company spokesperson said. “It will help our customers tap into growing export markets while supporting regional supply chain resilience.”

The FP2 service expansion is expected to benefit both importers and exporters by reducing inland transport times and facilitating direct connections to major U.S. ports. ONE will continue to monitor cargo flows and adjust schedules to meet market needs and maintain service reliability across the transpacific corridor.

The Haiphong call on the FP2 service is scheduled to start in February 2026, with weekly operations initially, before potentially increasing frequency based on demand.
