Porter has expanded its operations to eight additional cities, aiming to strengthen its intra-city logistics network and tap into growing demand in regional markets.

The move is part of the company’s strategy to deepen its presence beyond major metropolitan areas, targeting Tier II and Tier III cities where demand for efficient last-mile delivery and on-demand transport services is rising rapidly.

Porter said the expansion will enhance its ability to provide quick, reliable, and cost-effective logistics solutions for small businesses, e-commerce players, and individual users. The company’s platform connects customers with a wide range of vehicles, including two-wheelers, mini trucks, and light commercial vehicles.

Industry observers note that intra-city logistics has become a critical component of supply chains, driven by the growth of online commerce and increasing expectations for faster deliveries. Expanding into regional markets allows logistics providers to capture new demand while improving network density.

With this expansion, Porter aims to strengthen its nationwide footprint and improve service accessibility, positioning itself to capitalise on the evolving urban and semi-urban logistics landscape in India.
