TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), part of the TVS Mobility group and a joint venture between TVS SCS and Ravikumar Swaminathan & Family, is investing around Rs 250 crore to develop a state-of-the-art Grade-A industrial and logistics park on 17 acres in Visakhapatnam.
Strategically located 21 km from Vizag airport, 28 km from Vizag railway station and 32 km from Vizag port, the park offers direct access to the Chennai–Kolkata Highway. The land was allotted by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (APIIC), which facilitated the acquisition process and approvals. The park is being developed in multiple phases, with around 4 lakh sq. ft. of ready-to-move-in space already completed, according to a statement.
Once fully operational, the built-to-suit (BTS) facility is expected to generate over 1,000 jobs.
Key features of the facility include a 12-metre clear height, LED lighting, solar-powered streetlights with daylight sensors, advanced fire-fighting systems, wide internal roads, high floor load capacity, dual flushing systems, and low-flow water fixtures.
Sustainability measures include rainwater harvesting, 100% reuse of treated wastewater and renewable energy integration, making the park ESG-compliant and future-ready.
“With one of India’s busiest ports, Visakhapatnam serves as a gateway for trade with Southeast Asia and beyond. Our park is designed to leverage this connectivity and cater to high-growth sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, 3PLs, automobiles, electronics, and seafood processing,” said Aditi Kumar, joint managing director, TVS ILP.
Visakhapatnam is witnessing rapid infrastructure upgrades, including the upcoming Bogapuram International Airport and improved connectivity along the Chennai–Kolkata corridor, the statement added.
