Kerala’s logistics infrastructure has received a major boost with the development of a state-of-the-art warehousing and industrial park in the Ernakulam district.

The modern facility, developed by NDR Space Private Limited, has been built with an investment of ₹250 crore across 16 acres and features a built-up area of two lakh square feet. The project marks a significant step forward in strengthening the state’s logistics and industrial ecosystem and reflects growing investor confidence in Kerala’s infrastructure landscape.

The project is among the investment proposals received during the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025 organised by the Industries Department. The summit attracted 449 expressions of interest, of which construction has already begun for 115 projects representing investments exceeding ₹54,000 crore. The steady progress of these proposals into operational projects highlights the state’s focus on implementation and industrial growth.

Global companies such as LG and Cipla have already established operations within the park, underlining Kerala’s growing importance as a logistics and distribution hub in South India.

NDR Space has also announced ambitious expansion plans to develop 20 lakh square feet of Grade A warehousing space across Kerala, including six lakh square feet in Ernakulam district. The company’s next major project is planned in Kozhikode district.

The facility has been developed using EDGE-certified, environmentally responsible construction and incorporates semi-automated stock management systems to enhance operational efficiency. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate more than 200 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The development reflects Kerala’s continued efforts to strengthen its industrial and logistics ecosystem through modern infrastructure, investor-friendly policies, and steady project execution.
