Dnata has announced plans to invest A$32 million in a new logistics facility in Western Sydney, reinforcing its long-term commitment to Australia’s fast-growing air cargo and supply chain market. The investment is expected to enhance the company’s warehousing, freight handling, and distribution capabilities in one of the country’s most important logistics corridors.

The new facility will be strategically located to serve Sydney Airport and surrounding industrial zones, providing faster cargo processing and improved access to domestic and international freight networks. It is expected to support sectors such as e-commerce, perishables, pharmaceuticals, retail, and high-value goods that depend on efficient cargo movement.

Dnata said the project will incorporate modern technology, automation, and sustainability-focused infrastructure to improve operational efficiency and service reliability. The expansion also reflects rising demand for integrated logistics solutions as Australia’s trade volumes and time-sensitive shipments continue to grow.

Industry observers see the investment as a significant boost for Western Sydney’s logistics ecosystem, with potential benefits including job creation, stronger supply chain resilience, and increased capacity for future trade growth.
