Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) has commissioned an advanced textile shredding facility at its Inland Container Depot (ICD) Patli, strengthening infrastructure aimed at improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer service for India’s EXIM trade.

The new facility enables complete on-site processing of textile waste, eliminating the need for off-site handling and ensuring faster, more efficient cargo processing. The development is expected to support improved customs compliance while reducing processing time for export and import shipments.

According to APSEZ, the advanced shredding facility will streamline cargo handling operations, enabling quicker turnaround and seamless service for EXIM customers. The initiative reflects the company’s continued investment in modern logistics infrastructure designed to enhance supply chain efficiency and operational reliability.

The commissioning of the facility is part of APSEZ’s broader strategy to develop smarter, technology-driven logistics solutions that improve customer experience and support the growing needs of India’s international trade sector.
