The Customs Department has revoked the suspension of the Customs Cargo Service Provider (CCSP) approval granted to CONCOR-DRT Container Freight Station (CFS) near Jawaharlal Nehru Port, allowing the facility to resume normal operations with immediate effect.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House issued a public notice on August 11, 2026, confirming the withdrawal of the suspension and restoration of the CCSP approval for the Dronagiri Rail Terminal (DRT), operated by state-owned Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR).
The Customs Department had suspended the CCSP approval of CONCOR-DRT CFS on July 22, 2026. With the latest order, the facility is once again authorised to function as a Customs Cargo Service Provider.
Spread across 59 acres, Dronagiri Rail Terminal is a major container handling and logistics facility serving the Jawaharlal Nehru Port region. The terminal handles approximately 14,000 TEUs per month and operates 90–100 rail rakes every month.
The facility has three rail lines, supporting the movement of containerised cargo between the port and the hinterland. Its warehousing infrastructure includes 35,640 sq metres of export-import warehousing capacity, 4,200 sq metres of domestic warehousing space, and 2,000 sq metres of bonded warehousing capacity.
The restoration of the CCSP approval is expected to provide continuity for exporters, importers, shipping lines, freight forwarders and other stakeholders using Dronagiri for customs-related cargo handling and rail-linked logistics operations.
