Menzies Aviation has launched Quick Pay, a new payment capability on its Menzies Aviation Cargo Handling (MACH) customer portal designed to simplify cargo payments and accelerate cargo release. The service has been introduced in partnership with PayCargo.
Quick Pay allows cargo customers to view charges associated with an Air Waybill (AWB) and make payments directly through PayCargo. Customers can use an existing PayCargo account or complete the transaction through guest checkout, reducing the need for manual payment processes and additional account setup.
Faster cargo release
Payment processing can be a critical step in the cargo release process, particularly when shipments are time-sensitive. Menzies Aviation said the new capability is intended to reduce friction in payment workflows and help customers complete transactions more quickly.
By providing payment information through the MACH portal and connecting customers directly to PayCargo, Quick Pay is designed to improve visibility and reduce delays caused by traditional manual payment procedures.
MACH platform expands digital capabilities
Quick Pay is the latest feature added to the MACH customer portal, which provides customers with digital tools for managing their cargo journey. The platform allows users to track shipments using AWB references, view invoices and access information about Menzies Aviation’s cargo network.
Since its launch in 2023, MACH has been deployed across 49 airports and has processed more than 1.6 million air waybills, according to Menzies Aviation.
The company operates a global cargo network spanning 73 warehouses and 79 freighter handling locations, handling more than 2.4 million tonnes of cargo annually.
Focus on digital cargo operations
Menzies Aviation said Quick Pay forms part of its broader digital transformation strategy, aimed at improving visibility, operational efficiency and customer experience across its cargo network.
The company plans to introduce additional capabilities through MACH as it continues to digitise cargo processes. The initiative reflects a wider industry shift towards integrated digital platforms that connect cargo tracking, documentation, payments and operational workflows.
For freight forwarders and other cargo customers, faster payment processing could help reduce administrative delays and support quicker movement of shipments through airport cargo facilities.
Menzies Aviation said its partnership with PayCargo will help create a simpler and more efficient payment experience while supporting the wider objective of keeping cargo moving through its global network.
