Adani Mundra Airport has commenced commercial flight operations in partnership with Star Air, enhancing air connectivity between Kutch and key business and tourism destinations across India. The inaugural flight from Goa marked the beginning of a new phase in the region’s transportation and economic development.
Under the new arrangement, Star Air will connect Mundra with eight cities — Mumbai, Bengaluru, Goa, Surat, Hindon, Belagavi, Kolhapur and Nanded — providing faster and more convenient travel options for business travelers, investors, tourists and logistics stakeholders.
The airport has been developed as part of Adani’s integrated multi-modal logistics ecosystem, complementing the operations of Mundra Port, India’s largest private commercial port, and the region’s multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The enhanced air connectivity is expected to strengthen trade linkages and improve access to domestic and global supply chains.
Adani Mundra Airport features a 1,900-metre runway capable of handling both passenger and cargo aircraft, along with modern passenger facilities and accessible infrastructure. The airport is positioned to support the growing industrial, commercial and logistics requirements of Kutch and surrounding regions.
The launch of direct air services is expected to boost regional economic activity, improve connectivity for businesses and residents, and further reinforce Mundra’s role as a major logistics and trade hub in western India.
