MV Frida, the latest vessel in the Orca Class, has successfully demonstrated its full lifting capability by completing a 1,600-ton tandem lift test. Both onboard cranes lifted 800 tons of water-filled test bags each at maximum outreach on the starboard side, confirming that the vessel meets all structural, stability, and heeling requirements under peak load conditions.

The test highlighted the vessel’s advanced design features, including its anti-heeling system, which safely counterbalanced the load, and its stability pontoon, which ensured high stability even at low draft. The successful lift marks a strong validation of the Orca Class’s engineering, design, and operational performance.

Company representatives expressed gratitude to all teams involved for ensuring the safe and effective execution of the test.

This milestone reinforces the Orca Class’s position as a cutting-edge solution for heavy-lift marine operations.
