Jeena & Company has expanded its Bhiwandi storage facility in Mumbai to improve operational efficiency. The upgrade increases storage capacity by 20 per cent, adding over 1,000 new pallet positions and thousands of location bins to manage high-volume freight better.
Expanded storage with advanced features
The Bhiwandi warehouse now covers over 110,000 sq ft with a ceiling height of 50 feet, featuring heavy-duty pallet racking and multi-tier shelving systems. The facility includes equipment like forklifts, stackers, and pallet trollies to optimise space and help sellers grow their businesses.
A unique spiral chute speeds up small consignment movement from upper floors to the ground, avoiding delays between packaging and dispatch.
Focused on future-ready operations
Prediman Koul, CEO of Jeena & Company, said, “Evolution is essential to our business. This capacity expansion at our Bhiwandi facility is meant to streamline operations further and reduce turnaround time. We are conscious of keeping ahead of the times and upgrading ourselves as per customer requirements. Proactive investment in infrastructure and technology helps us to offer ease and convenience to our partners.”
Jeena offers end-to-end logistics services, including tech-driven inventory management, e-commerce operations, and temperature-controlled and bonded warehousing facilities. This expansion strengthens Jeena’s commitment to meeting growing customer needs with modern, scalable solutions.
