    Chandran Durai Daniel is set to be the next Director (Bulk Carriers & Tankers) of Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), a PSU under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on July 17. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (Bulk Carrier Commercial and SVC Commercial) in the same organisation.

    Daniel has been recommended for the post of Director (Bulk Carriers & Tankers) of SCI from a list of six candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on July 17. Out of six candidates, five were from SCI and one was from Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL).
